These are created from reference (photos and sketches), with your input each step of the way, and painted in a traditional style.

LIVE-WEDDING PAINTINGS
Live-Wedding Paintings, of the Bride and Groom, the wedding party, the reception venue and more, are done on site the day of your wedding.
They offer a great experience for your guests, as well as a beautiful finished painting, with an impressionistic feel.
This has become an extrememly popular option for wedding planners and Brides and Grooms, and we are currently offering limited bookings for Live-Wedding Painting packages for 2025.

About the Artist
Artist David Waterman Schock is the recipient of multiple art awards, including an Award in Painting at the prestigious Copley Society in Boston, America's oldest art society, and being voted Best of Rhode Island for his work with Family Portraits by Rhode Island Monthly magazine.
David has exhibitedin top galleries in the US and England for over thirty years. He is the preferred vendor Wedding Painter for Aldrich Mansion, one of Rhode Island's most beautiful ocean front wedding venues, and a one-man gallery of his work is housed there as well.

In 2009, the SCHOCK GALLERY in Jamestown, RI, won the editor's poll for Best In Rhode Island for the Family Portrait work of artist David Waterman Schock. The category was created specifically to recognize the artist's unique wrok.
