CHRIST ARISEN

On Good Friday, in 2022, I became inspired to take a painting that I had begun, just as a background, maybe a year earlier, and I immediately saw this image "on it," as if it already existed. 

The painting itself emerged effortlessly, as if I wasn't the one doing the work. In fact it is the only major work I've ever created that I've chosen not to sign on the front of the canvas. 

By Holy Saturday it was finished, and sat completed on the easel Easter Sunday Morning. I have chosen to title the painting Christ Arisen,  given how and when it was created.

The painting, to me, evokes the visceral presence of Christ, and I see it to be Jesus, or Jeshua, as He is know to many, Ressurected, just after He has exit the tomb.

Christ Arisen is available as a fine art print on canvas, 20" x 30," stretcherd and ready to hang or frame. Each canvas edition is "re-painted" by me, meaning that I paint onto the print, giving it depth and making each a unique work of art.

The date of the creation of each unique edition is posted, and the work is hand signed by me, on the back of the canvas.
